Welcome! I am glad you found me.
My name is Deanne and I help women empower themselves through therapy.
Because you deserve love and support! We all do!
When problems go beyond what our friends or our family can do, an experienced and caring therapist can help. Drawing from my years of education, training and life experience, I provide a safe space to help my clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships so they can break free of old patterns that are keeping them stuck, take control of their life, and ultimately experience deeper purpose and meaning.
Women
My passion for helping women is reflected in my work. Using a person-centered approach creates an environment where clients feel safe, seen, and heard as they gain more personal awareness, tap into their inner strength, learn to trust themselves and take their power back.
There is nothing we can’t talk about. From messy relationships, trauma, substance abuse, codependency, and eating disorders, to major life transitions such as postpartum, mid-life, career, divorce, empty-nest syndrome, illness, or loss. I am here for you: Together, we will examine and process feelings around past and current experiences so that you can grow and transform into the person you want to be.
Couples & Families
Our relationships impact the quality of our lives. Thus, for lasting change to occur, it is sometimes necessary to include the family. As a therapist and mother, I understand the complexities that arise within a family. In a safe and warm environment, we will work together to address issues, improve communication skills, and resolve conflict so that you and/or your partner, and/or your children can connect at a deeper level. In this way, the overall physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of the family as well as the individuals within the family are improved and a feeling of love and connection is restored.
Cancer Survivors
I also work with people diagnosed with cancer. As a cancer survivor myself, I understand the anxiety, depression, exhaustion, isolation, and existential angst one feels when dealing with a cancer diagnosis. My sensitivity and compassion help individuals feel safe to discuss the most difficult subjects relating to cancer: its treatments, and the effects both have on relationships, body image and self-worth, infertility, mortality and more. Although cancer can be excruciatingly painful, it can also be an opportunity for change and growth, especially, with the help of someone who knows.
Treat yourself with kindness and compassion, and give yourself the gift of therapy.
A free 20 minute consultation
I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation where we get a chance to talk, get to know each other and decide if we are a good fit.
